Loaned Arsenal defender Dinos Mavropanos was nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award in February.
Mavropanos has played 919 minutes for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga this season, achieving 79.9% passing accuracy, while he has also won 71% of his aerial duels – and an assist.
football.london understands that Arsenal are closely monitoring the progress of Mavropanos whose strong performances in the German top flight continue to attract the attention of rival clubs and managers.
The 23-year-old was nominated alongside his Stuttgart teammate Silas Wamangituka and Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently admitted he is keeping a close watch on loaned defenders from Arsenal.
“We have meetings very often to assess what they are doing,” Arteta said when asked if he was keeping an eye on the progress of Mavropanos and his colleague William Saliba.
