Kerem Shalom, 659 Elm St., Concord, has announced that enrollment for the Hebrew Reimagined School 2021-2022 is now open and plans to meet in person safely.

Programs include Holiday Preschool, Kindergarten, Hebrew School for Grades 1 through 6, and Cohort Learning for Grades 7.

The redesigned curriculum emphasizes active and experiential learning, with an emphasis on individualized learning for all students. Students in Grades 1 to 4 will experience Hebrew through movement, a kinesthetic and playful method of learning from sound to print. Students in Grades 3 through 6 will participate in elective courses based on their interests, and Grades 5 and 6 will have private Hebrew lessons.

Hebrew School Reimagined gives students a foundational knowledge base about Jewish tradition, in addition to a sense of identity and appreciation for the importance of Jewish life in the community. The program is designed to create a culture of learning by doing, fostering spirituality and focusing on the individual journeys of participants. And at the heart of our program are Kerem Shalom’s core values: kehillah (community), simchah (joy) and k’vod ha-b’riyot (respect for the dignity of each person).

For teens in grades 8 to 12, Kerem Shalom is also a partner congregation of Jewish Learning Opportunities for Teens. It is a shared space for Jewish high school students at seven MetroWest synagogues, where they can learn, act and celebrate as a unified community of adolescents.

Enrollment in Hebrew School Reimagined is committed to keeping costs affordable for families. For more information and to register, contact [email protected] or 978-371-0540.
