Diogo Dalot was AC Milan’s man of the match in his 3-0 Europa League win

Dalot’s assist was magnificent when he made a perfect cross with the outside of his right foot to find Rafael Leao in the box.

The 21-year-old also scored the third in Stefano Poli’s team overall victory.

Brahim Diaz had but AC Milan ahead but Zlatan Ibrahimovic surprisingly missed a penalty.

The defender also had some pretty amazing stats for the match as he took home the man of the match award.

They included 100 percent of his crosses completed, 89 percent of his passes, making two interceptions and two tackles.

Dalot signed for United man in 2018 under a £ 19million deal with Porto, but struggled to consolidate his place in the first team.

He left this summer in search of regular first-team football and should be offered that chance in Italy.

United clearly believe they still have a future at Old Trafford as the loan deal does not include a buy option.

If his performance in the Europa League is anything to see then he will have a good season with the club.
